Join us this summer!
Geared toward active school, church, and civic choir directors currently in the field; participants will be selected via application process. We aim to build upon the foundation already received while in undergrad.
Capped at only 12 participants, this intimate workshop is focused on the fundamentals and advanced concepts of conducting -- gesture, pedagogy, score study, and interpretation. Schedule: Monday: 10:00-12:00, 1:30-4:00, 7:00-9:30 Tuesday: 10:00-12:00, 1:30-4:00, 7:00-9:30 Wednesday: 8:00-12:00 Blue Angels outing! (optional, no cost) workshop resumes 1:30-4:30, 7:00-9:30 Thursday: 10:00-12:00, 1:30-4:00, 7:00-9:30 Friday: 10:00-12:00, 1:30-4:00, 7:00-9:00 Saturday: 4:00-5:30 pm & 7:30-9:00 pm Based on audition, 12 participants will be divided into the following two categories:

Application process:
After the application is processed, you will be notified in a timely fashion when admitted, and at what level. Applications will be reviewed and admitted in the order they are received, but must be submitted by May 15.
Tuition:
If applicable, we are happy to issue a Professional Development certificate for 38 hours.

- For this application, you will need:
- a short list of sample pieces you have conducted recently
- a video of yourself conducting one piece (if desiring the Fellow position). Can be with a choir, a few soloists, or piano only. Please not to a recording.

- Fellows: $350
- Scholars: $290
